Boldly Go

Within this painting, I wanted to encapsulate extremely large emotions on a limited scale. My goal for this painting was to discuss how large emotions feel within the context of someone’s inner world, and the possibilities opening up within one’s heart. I chose to use images from the Hubble Space Telescope to represent the multitude of possibilities within the universe and within yourself. I titled it “Boldly Go” in reference to Star Trek: The Original Series, which started my newfound interest in science-fiction.
